Toys for Tots:
On Saturday, October 10, 2009, two Springfield classic car clubs, The Cool Cruisers Car Club and The Route 66 Cruisers Car Club together, with Lowe’s Home Improvement Center, held a car cruise-in at Lowe’s Home Improvement Center on West Wabash, for the benefit of Toys for Tots. More than 145 participants contributed $3,137.00 cash and 1,000+ new toys for the less fortunate and needy children of Springfield.
